well i just got back to new york from florida yesterday to find my newest fish (a small Ottocinclus macrospilus) dead inside a shell 
i figured since i bought it 3 days before i went away, and wasnt able to keep an eye in it, and since most Ottos are wild-caught, it mayve just died from not being able to ajust.
but it was missing a pectoral fin
it was being kept with a Cobra Guppy, an Ottocinclus mariae, and a strangely large and aggressive Ghost Shrimp.
i blame the Ghost Shrimp, as it takes alot of force to remove a pectoral fin from an Armored Catfish.
so i hen went to the lfs to get a replacement. ( i got a much larger one so the it will be safe from the Shrimp) while I was there, i came across a Western Mosquitofish in the rosy red feeder tank. i already rescued 2 of them, and one has had like a million fry lol
i called up my mom and asked if i coulod get the Skeeter as well. being an animal lover, she couldnt say no to a rescue.
i put the Mosquitofish in the 5g with 2 others. (the new one is about 1'', smaller than the others, a 2'' and a 2.5'') so i added more plants to the tank so that it wont be bullied too much. (they dont nip eachother, they just chase eachother.)
