when i go on vacation in the summer
how will my bearded dragon do without me for a week
how would i take care of him when im gone?

ask a friend or family member to feed, water, and spot clean. when i leave i make sure there is food and just leave a note with directions. have the person who is looking after your pet come over so they can watch what you do so they know what to do and understand your directions when you are gone. i usually tell them not to worry about cleaning, i'll just do a big cleaning when i get back. a little cash their way also helps.

Or you can switch the lights off and let them be for a week, this will help them stay cool and in a non active state. One week for a reptile is like us being without food and water for an hour, they do this all the time in nature when conditions are not favorable.

ive been gone for a week usually i have someone watch them but i just put in some extra water, and a huge pile of pellets in each tank. lights on.

i to will have the same problem. ill let my snakes and leopard gecko go but i will need someone to feed and mist my frogs, chamelion and tree dragon.

I do it all the time and I have 75 plus reptiles.....give them water and shut off their main heat source.
