Most of those infected were not vaccinated and there is no reason for any cases to occur when vaccines can prevent them, the CDC said in a weekly report on death and diseases.:screwy:

Fear is a very large motivator ,this MMR vaccine seems perfectly safe and has so far proved very reliable. I've gotten it and so have most people.

There is no scientific evidence that measles, MMR, or any other vaccine causes autism. The question about a possible link between MMR vaccine and autism has been extensively reviewed by independent groups of experts in the U.S. including the National Academy of Sciences' Institute of Medicine. These reviews have concluded that the available epidemiologic evidence does not support a causal link between MMR vaccine and autism.

Yeah the preservative is what most of the activists where worried about, it's the Thimerosal which has almost half its mass to mercury. Yet it was found to be unvalidated and far below what would ever lead to damage to the nervous system. People are exposed to mercury all the time through foods and the environment, it's really only a problem for fetuses that are still developing.
