It was about 5:00 and I was going to do my weekly water change. I have a little gravel vac so it usually takes about 30 minute. I went down stair to eat and totally forgot about the tank. The tank is my Basement so...........
I ate, watched t.v  , and went to bed. The next day I woke up and got ready for work and then realized I forgot about the tank. :nilly:
55 G_ Before Drain
(1) Parrot Fish
(1) Silver Dollar
(1) German Ram
(1) 14" Pleco

After Drain Lets Just Say
Only the Pleco survived
Thank God

:(

How much had you been drinking? lol

How much water was on the floor?

Bet you won't do that again.

I went to the bathroom while draining once and forgot about the tank. Drained 5 gallons on the floor. Never drain your snake while draining your tank.

Thank goodness my tank is in the living room and next to the kitchen. Even with that, I still forget, mainly when refilling though.

I was helping my uncle on year fill his 13'x6'x3' pond in his basement to bring his scale less koi and tropical fish in for the winter. We had a the neighbors hose and his hose filling it up, well it takes about 2.5/3 hours to fill. So we went out to lunch.

Well after that we got called to help my grandpa with something and needless to say we came home to two ponds in the basement. We had a good two inches of water on the floor (concrete thank god) and it tooks us about 8 hours to clean up that damn mess.

Now that would suck.
