Hi guys,

Would love to get a VAFT but just wondering how it would be with these fish - silver arowana (1.5'), clown knife fish (1'), oscar (1') and a few other cichlids?

Do these fish just go after smaller fish or could my current stock become dinner too? Would hate to loose them.

It would be going into a 7' * 2' tank with plans of upgrading to a 8' * 3' in a year or two.

Would an 8' * 3'' even be big enough for an adult?

Thanks for the help

Alan.

Unless by some miracle you get a VATF that is over a foot long, I give it a 95% chance that the vittatus would be eaten by your current stock.

i agree, its not the other fish getting hurt you have to worry about, its the Arowana/Oscar easily outgrowing the tiger and eating him... plus those fish are beastly eaters, i could see it being difficult to get the ATF enough food to even try and keep pace with the growth of the others
