I've seen and read some discussion regarding Meridionalis. However, I have never seen a specimen alive and the only picture I've seen of the fish was an artwork the sub-species that bears little to no difference with P. Senegalus Senegalus.
Is Meridionalis really a valid sub-species? Because all I've heard is conjecture and I've yet to see a specimen.
