These guys are very rare in aus and is the only time I have seen them available. I was just wondering if the guy selling them has an extravagant price on them just because they are so rare or if they are generally fairly pricey even in other countries? They are advertised at $750 each. I have been looking for a largish rare pleco like this for a long time but don't want to get ripped off.

I think that price is about right because you're in Australia. I do know that pleco for sale in Australia have 10 time the price of what people in other countries get. Your laws is ridiculous.
