i have 5 6" rbp that are healthy and in excelent condition. i am considering selling them but didn't know how much their value has appreciated since the were 1/4" and initially purchased. 6 inches = $60?? any thoughts?

definitly not... I have seven 5-7 inch piranhas and tried to sell them to several stores and people. Highest offer I got was $30 each.
You can't buy one around here at that price. 8 inchers are around 40-50 bucks at the LFS here.
The price is relative to your area.
Do you have any LFS's selling RBPs? If so, figure out what they would sell that size RBP for, and make your price less so someone has incentive to buy yours.
piranha fish does not get much . . .because of there bad image people scare to keep them 25-30$ is good deal according to me
The value of the fish locally is going to vary based on the availability in your area unless you plan on shipping. The LFS in my area sell anything over 4" for $35+. In the past I picked up a shoal of 6 varying from 6"-9" for $100. If you can find someone who really wants them you may be able to get $20 a piece.
