Vampire - pazara info.....

I have a 90 gallon tank with a 5-6" tiger Oscar. I would like to get a Vampire (payara) fish. Is this ok? Will it work? If it does work, what size vampire should I get so the Oscar won't bother him?

You’d want to look at armatus as an Oscar will get bigger than scomberoides. You’ll need a bigger tank with armatus as it can get 2ft plus in size. If you can get the tank then get the armatus. I’d say the fish will have to be similar size if being places together.

Would avoid beef heart. A plain pellet will help be fine. Getting it on a pellet is tough. If it’s a scomberoides then growth will be a bit slow. If it’s armatus then it’ll grow quick.

Man my Armatus double in size maybe tripled in a month in a half
