anyone have one of these guys? i just picked him up. he is pretty small so i have in a ten gallon quarentine tank and will move him to any emptey 125 gallon. although i hear they can get large i have also heard that they never make it past 9 or 10 inches.

Be sure to keep your tank highly oxygenated... I suggest using a powerhead to create strong fast current flow.

GL!Cool fish but boring as hell! I had my two in a 135 by themselves and ended up moving them to a 40 breeder since the 135 always looked empty! Most of the time they sit in one place, twitching. Have grown to about 6" in a years time. I feed freeze-dried krill that they take from the surface and small pieces of silversides I feed with a "feedstick".
