Im nominating Vancouver_98683 as a notable academic not only for the infomative threads he either creates or contributes to in passing on his vast knowledge of polypterus to other members of the poly subforum but also for demonstrating the "right way" to do it. Its easy for us to take notice of these vast collections of polys in overstocked tanks but not with vancouver he cares for his fish and is an example to others of how to provide such a high level of care.
