ok here is the first question can pike chiclids bury them selves in substrate? And Can Fiddler carbs do the same. In my chiclid tank i have a 2-3 inch pike that in not sure the exact breed he is mostly dark with vertical strips a large spot on dorsal fin and spot on his tail. but the other day as i did WC he disappeared i picked up all the decor hand hiding spots and he was no place.......then he turned up the next morn.

Now I Got a Fiddler crab for my GSP's and he tried to crawl out one so i pushed him back in and made he so he could not get back out. Then i could not find him later but he turned up just walking around and this morn i can not find it .......... so could it possibly be under the sand??:irked:

The fiddler crab ate the pike cichlid then escaped out of the tank! :-0

Actually, just move stuff around and see if he's hiding. Or check the floor to see if they got out somehow. good luck.
