OK so I'm sitting here in my living room wife is doing her online college stuff she has the academy awards on. I'm lurking round on mfk and I grab my vape but stop. I'm less than five feet from my tank. wondering if its harmful for my tank? Anybody else think of this or is it just me over thinking?

There was a thread once about how second hand smoke does or doesn't have any influence on the fish. I think the consensus was that it really doesn't unless you're hotboxing your house. But I could be wrong...

I have yet to see any definitive research on vaping near aquariums. However, ...

Nicotine concentrations as small as a drop of 26mg/ml nicotine liquid can wipe out all fish in a 50 gallon aquarium.

So, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after handling vaping liquids.

Holy crap 26mg if anyone vapes that they must be not human. I'm a medium to heavy smoker and I don't pass 6mg I vaped 12mg and literally got a migraine.

A lot of people vape and get the no nicotine level ones. I only vape when I'm around in laws I just go to a bathroom and vape on.

I'm stating nicotine in a concentration of mg/ml. Most nicotine concentrations are listed on the bottle as a percentage of concentration. A 1.2% nicotine concentration equals 12mg/ml.

The most popular concentration for smokers who smoked a pack a day is 24mg/ml. Concentrations as high as 36mg/ml are offered in commercial sales.
