for a while I have been researching during my free time about bosc monitors
and I really think I might get one but I was wondering if I should put him in his enclosure that will be his forever home or should I keep him in a smaller tank until he gets big
I would like to just go right for the big enclosure as then I wouldnt have to upgrade but would he have a hard time finding food?
I was planning on 7x4x4 with his enclosure

i think it would depend on the purchase size but if it is like 10-12 inches you can always put up a temparary divider in the 7x4x4

Start small then go bigger as the monitor ages and grows through its life cycles.
