So this is what I feed my ZZ FH...I just wanted to know is this a good variety including live gosht shrimp live bloodworms frozen bloodworms and nightcrawlers.....Question 2 is I feed him about every 4-6 hours and I feed him well more than the size of his eye...He is 3.5 inches and eats about 20-25 pellets each time...am I overfeeding?

hahaha the Fh would argue i'm sure but yeah a bit.......as long as you don't mind keeping up on the WC so he has clean wasser i'm sure he is a pig eh!!! that's a good variety, but you should look into haveing diff producers rather than mostly hikari.....it's good stuff don't get me wrong but try some other brands you may find you get good result from them when you combine and switch up his diet more. just a thought

Right on will do bud...(and oh yeah he's a pudgy little bastard) lol

pretty good variety, but I would ditch the green staple hikari pellets, and the regular hikari also, and use new life spectrum and/or chingmix. NLS is good because it is krill based and that will help develop the red color better. Also I would use raw shrimp and krill also, but you definatly have the right idea. The reason for the shimp, krill, NLS, and Chingmix is the anaxtacin. That will help promote the red, and the shimp and chingmix are higher in omega 3 fatty acids which will help promote kok growth. Cylopeeze is great stuff too. I prefer the fozen blocks, and just cut of slivers and feed them frozen. Cyclops is THE BEST color, kok, growth enchancer I have found.

I havn't tried raw shrimp yet...But krill is the one and only thing he will not eat

that really sux because krill is good stuff. Try that sinking pellet by Kens that has krill in it, or the NLS because thats krill based. May be a good way to sneak it in if he will eat it. I like to freeze the raw shimp with the shell on then get a chefs knife and cut it in bite size pieces. The shell has anaxtacin so if you can get your fish to eat it with the shell, it's even better. You TOTALLY have the right idea on the variety thing though bro, good job!!
