thought I would start a thread to post pics I take at times that are not water related, camera pentax k110

my kids brought me a butterfly in a plastic bag as a gift yesterday as I collect them, yet, since this was a common specimen here and I have already we released it took some pictures first.

I have new cameritis ahhahahahhahah

We were driving home the other night and passed over the bridge that spans wascana lake and saw a cool sight, not so common for regina. So to the side of the road we go and out comes my camera (I AM SO GETTING A BETTER TELEPHOTO LENS)

this bird came swooping by so I tried a motion capture shot

I believe its called a killdeer very nice sound and very lovely coloration

That's cool that you caught the snail while laying eggs. I like the one of the butterfly on your fingertip - very cool image!

The bird in the last photo isn't a Killdeer, but I'm not sure what kind of bird it is - anyone know?
