Marbled, as in Papyrocranus afer? And the I have never heard of the common name "White Knife". Do you know the scientific name?

As for the marbles, yes, for the whites, sorry, no

are they just an albino version snowy?

I'm not sure, But it might be, as most pictures I have seen look albino. But then again I've seen gray specimens labled as "white knifefish".......

If you want to get white, tiger and anaconda, expect to pay more than a grand for all three.

White knifefish is also called white tamandua or pink knifefish. They are known jumpers unlike any other naked back species. Fin nipper at lights off too.

yea, that white knife sure is cool though, riverwonders.com is the only place i've seen one for sale. i found some aquarium care on these guys on another forum, just google "white knife fish" and it should be near the top

My LFS had a few of the white knives for about $500 ea. Anaconda knives are around the same, tiger knives I've never seen in person.

tiger knives are real similar to carapo knives just a little different in color they also dont run as high as $500 but close to 1 to 2 hundred. Really a beautiful fish picked up one on aquabid.
