Vatf and African pike cohab

Anyone have any luck keeping them together? I think the pike might pick on em though. Have them seperate now but wouldn't mind clearing up the tank the pike is in since he's the only fish in there. They'd only be in a 300 for now. Both are about 10in or so. Any ideas?

G/L, I had a 9" Odoe with a 14" Goliath and the next morning the GATF had large gashes on his body. Got wooped on by the Odoe, that's just my experience though

Yeah when they were about 4" thy were fine then one day he ATF had slashes on it's side. They been seperate ever since. Just was wondering if I should try again cuz the ank the pike is in only has him and a turltle so kinda seems like a waste.

i had an 12'' odoe in with an 8'' VATF. Never had a problem.

^^agree.. hit and miss thing.. i had my odoe punking my larger malabaricus.. but since you said the odoe already attacked the vatf before i'm assuming its gonna happen again.. good luck!
