VATF and small bottom dwellers

ATF generally ignore bottom dwellers. Will a VATF ignore small plecos and clown loaches if I constantly feed my VATF?

They should generally. Provide some hiding spots. Also depends on size difference. I have seen investigatory bites go real bad.

Well I've been trying for some time to sneak in some small bottom feeders or algae eaters like Oto's. They usually disappear within 3 days. lol
