Vatf finally off live

Finally got my 12" vatf to take krill and it's getting fat now. Very aggressive eater

How long you starved him to wean off live food?


The one I kept used to take 10-15 massivores at one searing.

Starved him for about a month so he ate 2 baby gars and bunch of my geoheads. Hopefully it will take massivores because it would take it sometimes but spits it right back out.

Thinking about getting a gatf. Would that be a bad idea? Tank is 6'x4'x30"

Vatf tend to dominate gatf so probably not a good idea. My vatf took a few bites out of my red hooks, tiger sd etc. I take it yours leaves them alone?

Yeah my vatf is pretty chill with everything in my tank. Never seen it be aggressive before

Mine is about 10 inches and is chill like yours.....only eats pellets won't even touch tilapia, shrimp ect. Anymore
