VATF Tank Size

Hey Everyone, I was just wondering what size aquarium would you need to house a VATF (African Tiger Fish) I'm not really looking for a number in regards to gallons, but a realistic footprint. I am asking because there might be a few coming in around here soon, and I was just curious to see if the tank size was anywhere near reasonable. My only guess right now is 10' x 3' x 2' I am not 100% on getting it, but it would be nice to know. BTW the species the store owner claims to be arriving is Hydrocynus Vittatus and says they will be around 4" - 6" arrival size. I would also like to know the tank size for housing them at that size.

Hi

96x36x24" is regarded as minimum. I kept one upto 14" in a 240, you really do need tyhe extra width if you can manage it.
 
Thanks for the replies guys, I will have to think it over very clearly before even considering the idea of such a large aquarium in my house.
