VATF tank temperature question.

I'm buying a pack of 4 VATF tomorrow and was wondering what other people are keeping their tanks temperature at? Mines at about 79-80 degrees Fahrenheit right now. I've looked for info on the internet but every website says a different temp. Any info would be great!

I have my heater set at 84-85 degrees I have 3200+ GPH wavemaker and airstone for extra oxygen in the water because the water is warm , so far my GATF is doing great and has better appetite with this water temp.

Higher temp and higher flow rate will keep your ATF happy and less aggression, less face slam into glass due to their skittish behave.

I always kept my VATF's from 80-88* with lots of aeration at any temp. Once acclimated and in the tank for a couple weeks, hey are pretty hardy imo

Ok I'll just keep it at 80 then and see how it goes. When I had my old vittatus in that temp he was fine and very active but just wanted a second opinion. I'm getting them in an hour and I'll make another thread about them. Thanks everyone for the help.
