So I've got 2 of my VATF's on food sticks and tilapia chunks. Although the biggest one at 5" doesn't touch either of them. The last time I fed him was 11 days ago and he ate 3 rosy's. I offer him tilapia every day and it just sits there. After a few hours I take it out and give it to the other ATF. I've got a powerhead in there to give him some movement and he looks otherwise very healthy.

How long can it take to get him to eat non live? I think he's pretty stubborn and it's coming down to a test of wills.....:screwy: Is there point when I should give in? I don't want to be stuck having to feed live for ever.

Guess what? Just as I posted this today I was about to give up. I went to check on the food and planned to take the uneatened piece of fish out when I saw it was gone. I looked at this belly and it was pretty full. I guess I won the battle of the wills. :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

It was a full 11 days since he last ate so I guess now I have an idea of what it takes. :nilly:

No more buying half dead rosy's and quarantining them! This is a whole new world for me. It's like a big weight lifted off my shoulders....... :D Now on to Costcos to buy a pack of Tilapia :headbang2
