So let me start by saying, I've always been the one who over filters any aquarium. With that in mind here are the tank specs:

- 40 Long
- Two Fluval 405's (Bioballs, Polyfiber, pads)
- 150W Heater
- Coralife Lighting x4 65W

Stock:
- 2 Discus
- 6 Rummynose Tetras
- 10 Albino Bushynose Plecos (breeding colony)
- 10 Whiptail cats - Rineloricaria Lima (breeding colony)
- 8 Emerald Corydoras (breeding colony)
- 2 Clown Plecos
- 2 SAE's

I've been wanting to upgrade the tank, but before that I wanted to start a veggie filter to help "naturally" neutralize nitrate and nitrites. I've recently picked up a 33 long and would like to use it due to its low profile. With that in mind, I'd like to stock the 33 with the babies of whats breeding and season the veggie filter prior to switching to a 75 or 90.

What I'd like to know is a good pump to use for a return from the 33 to the 40 that won't have too much return current. Also, the pump has to be safe for baby plecos. Any ideas? As for the feed to the 33 I was planning on using a standard overflow.

Thanks,

Tihsho
