These two guys just laid their first batch. So far the eggs look good, I've got my fingers crossed. Any tips on fry care would help greatly, every time my fish cross I have the worst time keeping them alive for more than a couple months. Can't wait to see what colors dominate if all goes well.

Argentea is a male, it took him a while to work up the nerve to even visit the terrors side of the tank. Glad to at least see eggs, didn't think he would ever match up. Thanks for the pointers. I've kept a cycled ten gallon in case this ever happened. I may pull the filter until they can avoid the intake. I'm assuming it would be better for them if they had some algae to graze on anyway.

Bad news, they went white. I'll be waiting for round two. The Red Terror went drab in color, almost feel bad for her. Hopefully they keep at it and nobody gets killed.

That sucks hopefully next time will work.

If you do you can make Kamfa white eye fish. You gotta take the fry and breed it to dad a female of course and then breed that back to mother.... Lol

You wonder why flowerhorn kamfas are sterile lol

I'm probably going to keep all the fry and try to breed at least one of them with a fish that could compliment it's color, shape or temperament. I'm hoping to custom make a mutt for myself and try to keep it and modify it for generations. Neat little side project I've always had in mind for my tanks. Always wanted a parachromis/amph, so I'll probably try to stick those in there along the line. That is if everything works, which is easier said than done. I've got four tanks running with no two of the same fish, so I'm always rooting for an unusual pair to decide to mate. Never made it past generation 1 but it's a cool plan B that keeps me interested. I'd love to mix it up and see what comes of it, for so many reasons I think diversity is a good thing.
