So heres the deal.. About a month ago my fish showed up on my doorstep when I wasn't home. No big deal, my girlfriend was there, I had her acclimate them all for me.. When I get home everything was alive so I'm all happy, looking around checking out all my new fish, its awesome. So everything is great until I realize she decided to put the synspilums and rose queens in the same tank.. It sucks because I never wanted to keep all of these but I can't get rid of them because I can't tell them apart. I think I had 10 synspilum and 5 rose queens but now I've only got about 10 fish left. Anyways..

I need some help I.D.ing them. I know the rose queen's a hybrid so I'll probably have to rely on how well you people know your syn's. If you don't know about the rose queens they are supposedly a hybrid between synspilum and midas/red devil's. Take your best guess..

Here they are before

Here they are a couple of days ago. (Sorry for the pics.) After all my hard work of netting and measuring them my girlfriend left me with these crappy pictures..

At that size it will probably be pretty tough to seperate them. You will most likely have to let them grow a little.
With that said from your first photos I would pull the ones with the short, black lateral line that extends about a third of the way from the caudal. I would assume these are the Sys.
I don't know anything about Rosequeens or hybrids of any kind for that matter.

you might be out of luck for now, my friend. seems like an extremely tough thing to do

you should be able to tell them apart very soon, as the RQ's wll start fading (which is the process of turning black then fading to orange or pink, if you dunno already :D) great pick ups though, very nice.
