Still rockin out the 37g … still at 5ct also. Ranging 4-4.5”… My son enjoys our weekly w/c on these 2 tanks under the stairs. We do 90-95% and use aged cycled water from my 650g on autodrip. The chicklets dont miss a beat and eat right after. With a whole fish room on autodrip its gettin a bit annoying so i may do something about it but for now its tolerable most the time lol… not sure where ill stash these guys next. They seem more than fine as is for a while longer i presume.

Theres 1 who looks different color wise and keeps everyone in check. Im assuming thats my male but no positives yet. I wont b 2 disappointed if its all females or all males. Seems to be working so far temperment wise

For sure. They're one of the few Malawi cichlids that the females are a nice color...love the giraffe pattern too. Cool fish!

Finally have some blue and im down to 4… im suspecting i have 4 males. Could be wrong tho and its a 1-3 ratio. Time will tell i suppose. Regardless, still enjoy these guys in there 37 under the stairs lol… someone just gave me a 45 tall ill prob send them too sooner than later.

appreciate the comments... Not terribly disappointed to end up with a little colony of males if they keep getting along. Might try another group once i move these ones out. It is nice having a bit of color in the fish room with everything else pretty much white...or brown lol
