I spent the last 2 days with Mitch of Diamond Reptile Breeders helping him with his animals and working more on my venomous training hours and just thought I would show off some pictures from his place :)
All animals pictures belong to Mitch and are posted here with his permission.

just a few of the awesome animals Mitch has! Next time I get out there I will be taking many more pictures!

and Just so everyone knows.... there are no pictures of me handling these animals because I am not quite there yet. For photos, Mitch does all the handling and positioning. My contact with them is pretty limited to hooking them out of the cage and into a bin in order to clean the cage. I do not even tail them yet, all in good time though. He has to be comfortable in my skills of handling them alone (and I do to!) before he can stand by and take pictures of me lol

Is that a frickin emu!!!!!!!!!!!! Emus are just too damn kool. Awesome dude, sounds like alot of fun.

Some great looking snakes... especially loving that viper...

Mitch is a good guy. Glad to see that you are going about getting your venomous the right way too. How many hours do you have under your belt now? Good luck with it!

lol not a whole lot, I am basically just starting out. I am keeping track of all my volunteer hours at the CARE foundation and my hours with mitch in a little notebook but I haven't added them up yet.
I will probably be out of Fl. by the time I have the hours for my permit so I wont even bother to get one but I still want the knowledge and training

Lol well he is good friends with Travis at the CARE foundation and they have tigers, leopards, bears.... just about everything EXCEPT a lion or zebra! :P
I have pictures of my work over there as well in the Lounge

im jealous. id love to get some venom mentoring before i make the leap, but no one around here really keeps them :(
