Vented my Dovii..

Vent looks a little small, but if I were to guess I would say boy

Honestly, I think it'd be much easier to sex the fish by colouration instead of venting (in this case at least). I think that's a female though.

I agree with just seeing the fish. Dovii are pretty cut and dry. If they do not show colors real soon just wait a lil longer and their will be no questions about it...

Yea but in my case it's 50 / 50.. the dovii is 6" which should be fairly easy to sex but no one seems to know for sure so it was recommended that I vent it. But here are some pics..

At times I do at times I don't lol. And every forum I ask I get a different answer which is why I wanted to vent it to be 100% sure.
