Venting Different Species Thread!

How do you know what to look for when venting any species of cichlid? For example, I want to vent my midevil but don't know what to look for and I'm sure I'm not the only one out there! If people have pictures and advice on any species post the species of fish, how to tell the sex when venting, any sexual dimorphisms, and pictures of the differences in vents of the fish you're talking about, or pictures of the sexual differences in the fish. I couldn't find a thread on this so I figured I'd start one! Hopefully it will end up being informative and fun for everybody! Go crazy people!

Female vent looks like U and male vents look like V , that's what I've went by. Can be really tricky on smaller specimens however.

Also, to help with confusion, sometimes with smaller specimens laying them on their side in shallow water will give you a clearer picture of the vent.
