Venting Help with Pictures

I tried. Rather than guessing it's sex I decided to get my hands dirty and give my fish a physical. Unfortunately, despite researching venting and feeling confident, I had no idea what I was looking at. Does my fish have a butt? Can't find it. I see one thing, that looks like a thing, but I'm not sure what that thing is. Any help from a resident fish business specialist would be appreciated.

Can anyone actually vent a fish? Maybe I'm not the only one who doesn't know what I'm talking about. Somebody has to know how to do this. Please chime in, even with guesses.

I hear you buddy. I'm thinking the fish is male, always have, even after being dumbfounded by the sight of its ambiguous junk. Somebody has to be able to confirm or deny this.
