ok so somehow me and my mom got into a discussion about fishtanks

it started off with my dad and momwhere together, my dad would always keep switching from salt to fresh and waste of of the extra money they had for nothing and my mom would get pissed off.

and then my mom turns on me and says that i spend all my money and time on my fish to make their lives better before anything else such as myself.

shew told me if you really care so much about the fish you would be happy with them living in the big ocean, i was like YOU DIP!, ALL OF MY FISH COME FROM RIVERS!!! and shes like well dont you think they would happier in a big river and being free?

then she started comparing shamoo to my fish, and i said that completely different because unlike fish whales such as orcas have the ability to think ot that level of intelligence like people.

she says you have fish taken from the wild because you want them and only thinking about yourself

:swear:

i still dont feel better

can i get some input plz?

Also take into account that it is an industry.....a lot of the fish in the trade are raised on farms....not neccessarily taken from the wild. Ask your mom if she'd rather them fight for life in a tank that has a bazillion bro's and ho's competing for food and no room to swim oooorrr in your tank being well fed and happy.

I got an idea, lick your palm and slap her :D
     Better yet slap her with a stink palm. :naughty:
(thats when you wipe your hand on your a** ,for all those that didnt know) So dirty.

Seroiusly,I think that a majority of fish in the trade now are captive raised or I hope they are. This is something that I have issues about,I try to find out if possible if the fish I buy a farm raised or not.I really dont like tha thought of pulling a fish from the wild and stinkin it in a tank for te rest of its life.Tank raised, from what I've been told tend to be alot more hardy and not as easily stressed, basicly born for the tank.

And also....what do you think fish stores do with fish that aren't sold????

If you dont buy the fish....some other dip**** that doesnt know crap about it might buy it and stuff an arapaima in a 2g and make like....something like a bonzai kitty but fish smelling....

oh oh, i've got it. Make your mom brownies. Special brownies. Just pump them full of chocolate laxatives! I did that to some of my friends. Good stuff :D

Dont feel bad because your mom said that. As long as you give proper care to your
fish ,then thats all that matters.

Dont worry about if they are happier in the wild or in a tank. Im not even sure if fish can tell the difference if kept in a tank long enough.
