Well after loads of confusion whether or not my thai silk is female, or male.

hmmm. im just SOOO unsure, because, it looks swollen and its thingy is hanging out, so i thought, eggs. but then when i looked it looks like a V underneath! its SO confusing!

Stop worrying about your silk so much, if its a male just wait for the kok to show up. A month ago my silk didn't have a kok at all, now it has a nice bump coming in (my is a male). O yeah mine is about 3" as well.
hmmm! ill wait and see, im hoping it is male, hopeing to pair it will a texas or blood parrot. he/she is in with a baby texas at the minute. no agression towards eachother. so we will see! he has a kok starting to show, but its coming... slowly. if its female, at what time will she start laying eggs?? i want to get this sorted, as i dont want to let it get to big before adding a mate if its female...
