what is it and how do i do it?

venting means checking fish under their anus for their 'breeding tube".... females will have a larger rounder tube (for spitting out eggs) while males have a triangular 'pointed' tube. takes a bit of practice, but common for those who want to sex larger fish. difficult to do with small fish.
