Do you have a picture of your skimmer? Are you thinking of using it for air injection for the skimmer? It's definitly a large venturi. That is about the size I run ozone with for my big displays.

I will be diy ing the skimmer and i am basing my plans on this , it is rated for 5000 liters in case i want to hook up another sw tank i am looking at model asw 5300p any way here is the link: http://www.tmc-ltd.co.uk/commercial/saltwater-skimmers.asp
there is detailed info if u click on details at bottom of page
the venturi is for air injection as u can see from pic

oh forgot to ask, i have no idea how much air that monster should be sucking in
anybody have a guess???

thanks, right, lots of info though not sure they are the same model (the gpm)
but i was asking if 13 cfh would be enough ? the more air the better?
that is what im wondering about

It's better to run too large of an injector. You can alway pull it back a little, it's hard to make something too small open up more.

When doing something like this, the more air you have, the more foaming you'll get. As long as it's a consistant amount, you'll be ok.

Thanks I'll prob. get 2 just to be shure and if i find out i dont need it i'll have it
plus the price is very resonable compared to aquatic ecosystem
