I caught my male Blue Dragon & sub adult male Venustus circling each other a couple of nights ago. Cell phone in hand, I sat down by the tank and snapped a pic. As I was taking a second pic "Bam" the two went at it. The camera recorded the two cichlids accelerated motion towards each other, then the lip lock battle.
The battle was short lived, no injuries. The Blue Dragon came out on top, maintaining his territory just above his favorite rock. Thought you guys would like the pics.
