Venustus vs. zebra obliquidens

Last week i picked I picked up a 4 inch venustus for my tank. Ever since he entered the tank, he has been endlessly chased by the smaller female zebra obliquidens. I think it has something to do with the two fish being the same color. The venustus is getting frayed fins, losing color, and has jumped a few times. Any suggestions what to do?

Here are some pics. They're not great,but the venustus had quite a few scars.

Also, the other fish must notice hes weak because my OB peacock just attempted to fight him mouth to mouth

Its a 90 gallon with

Venustus cichlid
Yellow lab
OB peacock
Synodontis catfish
Bristle nose pleco
Frontosa
Borleyi hap
Zebra obliquidens

Might want to put her in a QT tank to let her heal. Or you could separate her from the rest of the tank with a piece of egg crate. She's gonna need some time to recouperate.

Ok. Any idea why this is happening because she is one of the larger fish in the tank. The zebra obliquidens is probably half her size.

Some fish just don't get along. It happens. Do you have hiding spots like rocks in the tank? Maybe need to rearrange the tank decor so they have to establish new territories.

I have lots of rocks, bit the venustus cannot use them to hide because he is being bullied by fish smaller than him

Add more fish to spread the aggression, add more rocks, or remove the fish. Those are pretty much your options.
