I fed my green texas / blood parrot hybrid too many frozen bloodworms, which i now realize is a dumb mistake, then 2 days later he became bloated. Once I noticed, I stopped feeding him for the first 2 days. On the 3rd day i fed him 2 1/2 peas. Then on the 4th day I fed him a couple of pellets soaked in epsom salt & water just in case he has internal parasites. On the 5th & 6th day (yesterday) I fed him peas. I also did a 50% water change and added epsom salt directly to the water. I added a total of 6 tablespoons (in a 56g, 1 tablespoon every 30 min). I saw him poop a little but he still looked bloated. I fed him pellets soaked in epsom salt & water 3 times today and although ill occassionally see him poop (normal looking, not stringy) he looks more bloated. I need help! I dont want to lose this guy! His belly looks so big that he looks like hes going to pop!

His belly is worse now

If you haven't figured it out by now you have a female. The round tube and the black on the dorsal fin makes him a "her." No more treatment is necessary. I'm sure you had to regroup by now lol
