Here's a quick rundown...
When I had a Cichlid added to the tank a few wks back I know her and my Cat went rounds for a couple days before I was able to get a tank divider, so from this he ended up with a few scratches on him... as seen in this pic:

Lately his eyes have ended up like this:

Now...
Recently, the scratches on his back got a "cotton" matter on them gearing me to think it was fungal, but now look as if these areas are white... like the muscle of him is "white" - less cotton matter now...
(water is greenish color due to medicating with API Fungus Cure as of yesterday)

I'm VERY confused as I've treated with BOTH gram positive and gram negative meds initially for bacteria. The gram negative actually made this worse, resulting in the "cotton" look which I thought was Columnaris, but my Cat doesn't have all the signs of this nor Saprolegnia (which is the actual cotton wool look)
I was reading the site www.americanaquariumproducts.com/columnaris.html - and basically I can't narrow down weather its bacterial which has switched to fungus or just fungus, or neither. He's been treated with the proper amount for a 55 gallon for Maracyn (gram pos - which did nothing) and Seachem's KanaPlex (gram neg - which actually made all this turn from cotton-looking to the "white meat look" - thus figuring it was Fungal instead of Bacterial... right now I have one more dosage for the Cat of API's Fungus Cure tomorrow and I'm pretty much at loss as what to do now beings I can't narrow down what he really has.
Temp: 80
pH: 7.0
Nitrates: 0.0
Nitrites: 0.0
Ammonia: 0.0
Carbon has been pulled and also using an 18 watt (up to 250 gallons) UV Sterilizer.
Carbon has been used between medications as well, not to mix things up.
He does eat when food is thrown in which I'm not trying to do very often and is trying to get out and swim around, especially in aeration bubbles (as if the air helps his sores), he's not acting strange otherwise as in gasping for air or any other symptoms around his mouth or red spots, etc...
If anyones got any direction they can give me, I'd appreciate it...
