very fine gravel & carpet

I am using very fine white sand as aquarium bedding.
I'd like to Plant HC carpet onto it, do you think it'll stay?

I would suggest a "dry start"

Also just an FYI, Co2 is more important for HC than lighting. HC will melt if a Co2 isnt present.
