I have an electric yellow cichlid ( 1.25 inch) that looks and behaves great. Eating fine, no scratching or anything abnormal. I noticed that it has some blueish circles on its back fin, is this normal or is this a sign of ICH. My other cichlids do not have any white spots, but i don't want to risk losing them.

Sorry for the picture quality... my camera (canon A95) can't seem to focus through the glass...

Looks fine to me, I'm going to guess its a hybrid of some sort. Its very common with yellow labs. Could just be the way the lights hitting it though.

Nice looking fish either way

no, mine had ich before, and it was the usual white spots, so i would say no. if it was ich you'd know. but that's without looking at the pic lol, i hate when they don't focus.

i'd say it's normal not to have perfect coloration

The picture will not load for me, but I doubt it's ich.

Ich looks like the fish has been sprinkled with salt. There's no doubt that something is seriously wrong. The spots multiply very quickly.

ok thanks guys... i am still hoping the yellow lab isn't a hybrid. I guess time will tell.
