He just sits in one area for the majority of the day. I got him 1 week ago. He is already on pellets. He appears healthy. You can see him in my avatar. He is about 4" and about the 2-2.5cm thick. Will he ever be more active? Maybe he is under fed

You can see, the first picture he doesn't have an external gill, the second one is the opposite side and there is. Is this why he is so inactive? thanks

Delhezi are less active than a Senegal...Are you keeping him full? A full Delhezi will be a lazy Delhezi....Feed him every other day or even 2 days and you will see his azz swimming around alot.

Are you positive the gt isnt picking on him?
Mine are all quite active in the morning and from about 9 or 10pm and this is before i even feed them, just have a look around these times and hopefully he will be out looking for food, also when i got my first poly, the ornate,i did notice he was a lot more active when i got another one in there.
If hes eating he is probably just settling in mate, your probably watching him a bit too closely and noticing every littlre thing he does or doesnt do.
Good luck.

He probably is just settling in... i just wish he would hurry up. I know they are nocturnal but i have seen other people with dels my size and they are very active...

tankmates?
A green terror and 9 giant danios. They do not bother him whatsoever. The gt couldn't care less and is always on the search for more food.
