Very long pregnancy produces Marble/Pearl pup

So on New Years day my female motoro got pregant and 5 days later my female marble from my male pearl. On april 20 my motoro gave birth to seven pups. My Marble I thought may have lost her pups and had been reabsorbed but to my surprise there was 1 dead pup and one swimming around this morning. Over 6 months pregnant .The one that lived seems very week so I'm not sure it will make it. I've got it in with my my motoro pups and it's bigger than any of them. In the picture it's the one on the right.

Did you seperate the male from the female motoro when you assume she was impregnated? Or could it be possible she was impregnated later on?

I didn't sperate them but there was movement in her the whole time up from 60 days until about 2 weeks ago. Which would mean she would have had to get pregnant while pregnant and have the first pregnancy reabsorbed. I'm not sure this would be possible at all. Or is it?

6 months pregnancy is consider a very long overdue, lucky for the surviving pup.

congrats and condolences. getting pregnant while being pregnant??? I have heard of this in dogs before, not sure if it can happened to rays. might be possible. Knowing that the new pup is bigger than the others, i doubt it. I think she just held onto them too long. That could be the reason why the other pup died.

some one in this thread already have a pair of marble/pearl pups swimming in his pond. I wll let him to take their picture. Mom is marble and father is pearl. both pup are with pearl tail.
