How rare is this fish? Whats it worth? Its about 6"-7" long.

Odd such a rare and unique fish is valued at only $20. I would never sell it because I've never heard or seen one before I just wanted to post it and see what you more experienced guys thought about it.

I believe I read awhile back that some people overseas were trying to breed cichla to get short body ones. I personally would not want to buy one because I don't like that people are trying to do that. If this fish is a mutation which is probably the case there would be some people who would get a kick out of it. Thanks for posting it.

You'd have to pay me $20 to take that fish. I don't know why anyone would want a deformed fish. No offence to the OP, if you like the fish then good for you but I don't think rare always means valuable.
