Very shy NGT

I got a 7 inch NGT from Infinite Aquatics on friday. There was a Jag in the tank that was chasing it relentlessly. I removed the Jag, and it never did any damage to the NGT. This guy is super shy and pretty unstable still. I hardly ever see it.

Are NGTs generally shy? I am hoping that it's just shy because it's in a new home and hoping that it starts to come out and swim around. There is no aggression in the tank whatsoever (his tankmates are a 4 inch IT, a large easy going Argentea, and many Polys).

For those of you with NGTs, can I expect this guy to come out of his shell?

Give it time to adjust and then ... it will become AGGRESSIVE

I just caught him swimming across the tank and was stable and looking great!

Too bad he was only out for a sec and hes hiding again.

It'll come around. My NTT was very shy for the longest time. Some dats just take a while. At least it's coloring up now.
