Very Silver Arowana

I just got this guy and he's very white/silver in color, unlike my other Arowanas which are pink and green. I was told he mainly ate cocktail shrimp and is 2 years old. 2 footer. Is this normal for a Silver Arowana to be this white? No color. I got him for $35 bucks. Please let me know what you guys think.
