Ok, I know they have the proper Python end piece at petco, walmart etc. but I did not want to use it 1) its plastic 2) I see no point in using that to start my siphon when I could just suck on the end and point it out the door 3) it cost more.
Yes the gravel vac was a little faster using the shorter hose, but using the longer hose it still sucks up all the poop but not as fast.
