Since i got him (last Sunday)all he does is hide,he took some shrimp but spit it out,he seems scared of his tankmates,is this normal???Its been a week he should be used to the tank by now shouldnt he??Also there is very little to no aggression in the tank.:WHOA:

My Belly Crawler lives in a cave.He only comes out a little bit to snatch food.If mine gets as big as peanuts got then he'll be a killer looking Pike.:)

Each pike has its own personality. Some are more timid than others. Try addin some Severums to the tank, which are normally out in the open and more active. It will make the pikes feel more comfortable, knowin that there aren't any predators...;)

Boy what a difference a week makes,my Pike now reminds me of a Grumpy old man!!!Protecting his cave and fighting to eat anything that hits the water!!Super cool fish!!

Gotta give them time, they gotta get used to their surroundings just like every other fish. Should become more active each week....generally speaking. Don't be surprised if it 'pouts' occassionally though...haha

It seems the less fish there is in my tank the more the pike hides. I think she thrives on being a ass to the other tank mates.
