VERY VERY Slow Growth Rate?...

I got a delhezi bichir in August of 07...the 10th to be exact when he was around 4 "s its now March and he's grown maybe .5"-1" Is it possbile he's a short body? Ill try and get some pics up.

My personal experience has been slow growth rates with delhezi's.

mine from 9" 2 yrs back grew to 12" currently.

3" in 2yrs. they are indeed slow growers

my del grew from 6"-8" quite quickly and then slowed down mind you that took nearly a year! my ornate was alot quicker

I've had similar growth rates... I bought 2 senegals 6 months ago... one has grown to 8-9" while the other is 5".. I got both of them at 3"

one senegal had a growth rate at the max of 2.5" in a month. The other hasn't grown .5" in the month i've had him.
