Well my beardie I care for her normally, have her in a HUGE terrarium (9'x4'x2') and she's developing some weird condition...her foot has turned REALLY dark brown/black and her toes have been falling off...I keep the basking site hot enough, give them baths 2x a week for 20 mins each, keep regular food/water in there, mealworms right now but most of the time I gutload and dust the crickets, have the UV-B (and it is def. the right bulb) on for 12-16 hrs. per day, etc...and her foot just turned like this...I'm afraid it might fall off. They shed regularly, which is why it is so weird, at first I thought it may be excess sheddings so I put the foot in peroxide daily for about 2 weeks, but the **** didn't come off...my other male dragon's tail, about 3" of it developed the same condition in a "ring" and that part fell off. I suspect that may be from damage when he was in the pet store something may have fell on it and caused trauma, but why do you guys think the foot is like this? I have them on lizard litter, btw, didn't mention that. PLEASE HELP :). Thanks!

go to a vet asap

yes vet asap. did the toes never peel the old skin??? if not that may keep the blood flow from being the norm and cause the digits to die.also u say the spotlight is hot enough but what temp is the whole cage??

take some pics and show us

that condition is known as gangrene

its cause is usually by an injury to the toes and or tail that becomes infected, this sound specifically like dry gangrene.

take him to the vet, they will amputate the digits by removing all of the dead tissue and put her/him on antibiotics

if you dont, i will continue to spread up the digits, tail, whatever.

Ooooh yuk!
Shedding issues are most common cause, there is a retained annular ring of skin that builds up and cuts off circulation.

The other option is even more scary, a fungal infection called nanissiopsis varissesi (poor spelling)
